Kids' Company

Kids’ Company is a summer theatre workshop for students starting in grades 5 – 12. The students attend workshops and rehearsals on weekends in May and June and then attend a three-week intensive that ends in a weekend performance of that years’ show. In the past twenty years, Kids’ Company has produced many musicals including Once on This Island, Guys and Dolls, Grease, and Annie. Auditions will be held in early spring, and are for placement purposes only. It doesn’t matter if they’ve never acted before, everyone is welcome! Space is limited, however, so call for an audition early! If you or someone you know is interested in participating in Kids’ Company this year, please call the Arts In Motion office at 450-0188 to be put on the mailing list.

Kids' Company Workshop

Arts in Motion offers 6 workshops throughout the year that build acting, dancing, and musical skills. In the past we have had guest artists from NYC hold workshops on improvisation and auditioning. Instructors from the summer intensive also offer workshops on movement, voice, and acting.

Students in grades 5-12 are welcome to participate even if they have not participated in the Kids’ Co. summer intensive.
